The American Physiological Society�s Chapter Program is designed to promote at the local level, the general objectives of the Society, including its goal of interdisciplinary contracts among research workers interested in the physiological sciences and education of the general public and future physiologists. Each chapter should be incorporated, by the organizers of the chapter, under the local laws of the state in which the chapter is located.
